CG: Flow Of Two

Another late-night cg XD i don't think i slept til like 4am o.o lol and i still can't decide which version i liked better in the end.
After my net gets disconnected i usually start my doodles in opencanvas xD I sorta took a different approach or expermented with how i coloured it xD

As always i start with my doodles, calligraphy pen on a 3.7 nib (i choose the size randomly xD)

This is all in one layer and i started with the girls face, watercolour brush and just a mix of tones.

The boys skin now, same brush but different tone... i didn't like how this looked x.x

I created another layer and used the watercolour marker on 50% opacity and made an overlay, this was to even out the skin colour.

Just the clothes with the watercolour brush.

Same brush, new layer for the hair.

I decided to make a new layer and used the airbrush, first setting to line the faces.

Decided to make the hair more broad or clean? but using the caligraphy pen and a larger nib.

Added extra tones for the clothing, and this is technically where version 1 ends.

This is where i thought version 1 didn't look quite right or maybe it could be improved?, i decided to turn off the skin layers and make a new one. This happens to be version 2.
