What apathy feels like for me poem

Outer vision, inner sight, balanced yet not there.
Thinking is, as it is, or it becomes were.
Feeling what is, if it is, or it would be was.

Untangle the strings, strands from interlocking undetermined, uncertainty.

Presumption, assuming a guess. Preparation, predicting prerequisites.
What an apathetic mess.

I think too much.
Tangled as it were, the messy necessity.
Deciphering unclear messages unties me from my emotional, emotionless apathy.

This underwhelms, overwhelms my mind.
Frustrating, admiring the contrast and balance.
Comparing, between the irrational, rational.
Sensational, confrontational, metaphorical, rhetorical, inspirational.

I guess, if it weren't, I couldn't be me after it all. Afterall.
