Setting
A large kingdom, the castle made of stone with towers and metal gates, elegant with an earthy (vines/flowers) inspired design. Not a modern era, somewhat middle ages but there exists alchemy and the skills to dreate half human and animal beings.
The clothing will be flowy/airy designs arabian inspired.
Areas
TOWN
The town that surrounds the castle and is ruled by the king, it's mainly built of wooden houses. There's also the 'black' district which is like the black market for the selling of half-lings.
CASTLE
The main castle where the king, his family and servants are estated. This is right at the center and also where announcements take place.
SECRET LILLY POND
This is the hidden area inside the castle where shiori is secretly kept.
Characters
There are humans and half-lings, half-lings are half human but have animal attributes created by alchemy.
Main
Shiki (human): The lonely prince, he lost his mother when he was a child and was raised by the servants as his father didn't really have much time for him. Laid-back, confident but not arrogant and quick tempered.
Shiori (half-ling): The gift given to the prince by his late-mother to sing for him and keep him from feeling too lonely when she was gone. He's half human and bird (nightingale). Quiet, assertive and obedient.
Side
Tutor: This is shiki's strict tutor that teaches him and reminds him of his place as prince and must learn to one day rule the kingdom. He doesn't like half-lings and see's them as inferior so he doesn't like shiki spending too much time with his 'nightingale'. He's the typical old cranky one.

Timeline
- Intro - summary of how there's a secret pond for shiori and the prince shiki that visits it everyday.
- Argument between tutor and shiki over visiting shiori.
- Shiki in a bad mood storming from his lesson to visit shiori, to calm down. Meanwhile tutor thinks to himself how will this prince succeed in taking over and becoming king oneday.
- Shiori quietly waiting in the secret area, like he always does listening to the water.
- Shiki enters the hallways towards the pond and just before seeing shiori changes moods.
- Shiori glances back surprised and notes that shiki is early but shiori is happy none the less to see it's master.
- Shiki rests on shiori's lap as shiori sings him a song to relax and shiki falls asleep.
- The tending servant for shiori comes in and she signals another to carry the sleeping back to his room.
- The next day the prince is told urgent news that there's been unsettling developments in a neighbouring kingdom and is told to go and negotiate, in place of his father.
- Naturally shiki goes to the other kingdom, and when he's absent the tutor orders shiori to be captured and removed from the castle and sold in the black district.
- Masked servants invade the secret area and tie shiori, then kidnap him out of the castle.
- Shiki returns, but he doesn't notice anything yet, other than the servants acting a little odd or 'hushed', the tutor gives shiki lots to do and no time to visit shiori.
- Meanwhile shiori is mistreated and will be sold very soon.
- Shiki getting fed up asks why he cannot leave or see shiori, the servant tending to shiori sneaks a message to shiki telling him shiori has been taken.
- In raged Shiki rushes out of the room and castle to where shiori is.
- In the blacl distrist the auctioning is set and shiori is up for sale next.
- The bidding starts and shiki has not appeared, shiori losing all hope begins to cry, meanwhile shiki desperatly searches the market and all areas in the district.
- The bidding ends and still no sign of shiki, shiori is taken off stage and into a room to wait for his new master.
- A caped figure enters the room and shiori panics hiding into the bed.
- The figure looms over shiori and begins to reveal shiori, out of shock shiori slaps the hood off the figure.
- It's revealed it's shiki, shiori relieved hugs shiki tightly.
- Meanwhile in the castle the tutor sighs and a half beaten person apologising for failure. Tutor then gives up and plans extra load of work for the prince.
